Services d'eau et d'assainissement

Given the vast diversity of public water and sanitation services, the 2006 law on water and aquatic environments assigned to Onema, the French national agency for water and aquatic environments, the task of creating an observatory on public water and sanitation services. This initial panorama, using data drawn from the observatory, provides essential information on the organisation, performance levels and prices of water and collective-sanitation services. It also looks at the issues involved in sustainable management of system infrastructure assets.
